just like iron chef

Except without the meat.

A very tiny sampling of gourmet vegan dishes were served up unexpectedly.  If I wasn’t so ravenous I could have taken my time enjoying the bouquet before tasting every tiny forkful while I stared thoughtfully out into the distance, making noises that truly conveyed the profound pleasure I took in eating this delicately succulent food.

Chick pea (eggless) omelette with roasted corn and edamame

  topped with a vegan hollandaise sauce and  a strip  of roasted tomatillo and jalapeño sauce.
