The Fall colours were gorgeous this year and I think that the weekend that our large maple glowed an almost fluorescent yellow was the pinnacle of the change. We hadn’t yet entered into the two weeks of rain that soon followed, with the kind of winds that rip the leaves off the trees and onto the ground to dry up and turn into food for the grass underneath.
Don’t these photos make you just want to turn on the kettle so you can make some hot chocolate? A dash of Bailey’s wouldn’t be unwelcome in that mug, I dare say.
G’night.
