bianchini’s!

I didn’t mean to skip over this meal that we had in North Sydney while we were waiting for the ferry to Newfoundland.  We stopped in at a local pizza/pasta joint for something to eat before we had to go to sit in the ferry parking lot for two hours.  It’s called Bianchini’s Pizzeria, located at 330 Commercial Street, North Sydney.  The pizza was GLORIOUS!  Full of green, red, yellow peppers and mushrooms in a sweet tomato sauce, the crust was fresh and we couldn’t stop eating.  The kids had pasta – penne and spaghetti with tomato sauce.

A family-run restaurant, it’s tiny and comfortable.  If you’re ever in North Sydney, Nova Scotia and are waiting to line up for the ferry and have an hour to kill, don’t miss this place.

We may even stop in for lunch again on our way back.
